Create a Fund with the Foundation

Scholarships, community grants, and donor directed giving are possible by establishing a Fund.

We would not be able to provide scholarships and community grants without our donors who have established a Fund with the Foundation. You can establish a fund at the Foundation either during your lifetime or through your estate plan.  Donors may establish a named fund with a gift of $10,000 or more, or establish a named scholarship fund with a gift of $25,000 or more.  There are many flexible fund options to support your interests – the choice is yours.

  • How involved do you want to be in your grant making?
  • Do you want to give to a specific organization or a specific area of interest?
  • Do you want to establish a scholarship to honor or memorialize a loved one?
  • Do you want to create or continue your business giving program?

A donor has numerous ways to start a fund during his/her lifetime.  Or you can create a Legacy Fund by pledging a gift through your will or estate plan.   Here are a few ways for you to make donations to reach your philanthropic goals:

  • A cash gift
  • A bequest in your will
  • A life insurance policy
  • Donations of appreciated publicly-traded securities
  • Retirement fund accounts
  • Real estate (land, residence or vacation home, etc.)
  • A charitable remainder trust or charitable lead trust
  • Transfer of a private foundation
