 FOUNDATION INVITES GRANTS FOR 2012

 
The Ottawa County Community Foundation invites nonprofit organizations in or serving Ottawa County, to submit requests for grant funding to the Foundation. The Foundation makes grants to programs in the fields of education, social services, physical and mental health, safe and positive living environments, natural resources and the arts. The Foundation serves to provide for the enrichment of the quality of life in the Ottawa County community. Since its inception in 1999, the Foundation has awarded numerous grants through designated funds, scholarship funds and organizational funds.

Interested applicants are invited to attend the

Grant Seekers Workshop

February 2, 2012

8:30 A.M.

Oak Harbor Public Library

sponsored by the Foundation and the United Way. Reservations for the workshop must be made by calling the United Way at 419-734-6645.

 

Applications and Guidelines for Grant Seekers are available at public libraries in Port Clinton, Oak Harbor, Elmore, Marblehead, Genoa and the Put-In-Bay School. Applications are also available at the Grant Seekers Workshop and online at www.OttawaCCF.org.

Applications must be submitted via the U. S. Mail and postmarked no later than March 15, 2012.

 

*The Ottawa County Community Foundation is a public charitable organization created by the citizens of our community to improve the quality of life for those who live and work in the Ottawa County area.

 

*The Foundation established a permanent endowment to support a variety of charitable programs designed to address the current and emerging needs of local residents in the fields of education, social services, physical and mental health, safe and positive living environment, natural resources and the arts.
 
*College Scholarships are awarded to deserving students to support their post secondary educational endeavors.
